NDIS claim payments may take a little longer over the Christmas and New Year period due to public holidays and revised NDIA payment runs. To help you plan ahead, we’ve outlined what to expect, along with a few helpful tips for the festive season.
🕒 NDIS Payment Runs Over Christmas
The NDIA Payment timeframes change slightly during the holidays. If a claim is submitted:
- 24–28 December 2025 – it will be paid from 29 December 2025
- 29–30 December 2025 – it will be paid from 31 December 2025
- 30 December 2025 – 1 January 2026 – it will be paid from 2 January 2026
Usual NDIA payment cycles resume after 2 January 2026.
📅 Aspect Plan Management Holiday Operating Hours
Aspect Plan Management will remain open throughout the Christmas period, except on public holidays:
- 25 December 2025 (Christmas Day)
- 26 December 2025 (Boxing Day)
- 1 January 2026 (New Years Day)
📝 Helpful Tips for Providers & Participants
- Plan Supports early: Some providers reduce or pause services, and support costs may increase over the festive season.
- Submit invoices early: Submitting invoices early gives the best chance for timely processing during the festive season.
- Need urgent help? The NDIS National Contact Centre is open from 8am–8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

- Keep to routines that feel grounding and comforting
- Take small breaks whenever you need a moment to pause
