What is NDIS plan management?
NDIS plan management is a way of managing your NDIS funding where a registered plan manager pays your providers, tracks your budget and handles the paperwork for you. You keep full choice and control over your supports, and you can use Geelong providers whether or not they’re NDIS registered, for most supports.
There are three ways to manage NDIS funding. Here’s how they compare:

A plan manager that works around you
Plan management doesn’t need a shopfront. Your providers email their invoices to us, we check and pay them, and you can follow every payment in our online portal or simply give us a call. You get the same service whether you live in central Geelong, out at Lara or down at Ocean Grove, and you can keep the Geelong providers you already know and trust.
Our head office is in Melbourne, and all visits are by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins, so please contact us to arrange an appointment and avoid disappointment. Our friendly team supports participants across Victoria and the rest of Australia by phone, email and our 24/7 portal.

How do I switch to Aspect from my current plan manager?
Yes, whenever you’re ready. Switching to Aspect is free, there are no lock-ins, and your budgets and supports stay the same. We contact your current plan manager and arrange the handover for you.
Can I use unregistered providers in Geelong?
Yes, for most supports. As a plan-managed participant you can use Geelong providers whether or not they’re NDIS registered. We check each invoice against your plan and the NDIS price limits before it’s paid.
If I need assistance or clarification from the NDIS, where is the NDIS office in Geelong?
The NDIS office is on the ground floor at 13-19 Malop Street, Geelong. Please check the NDIS office finder or call the NDIA on 1800 800 110 for assistance from the NDIS.
Does plan management cost me anything?
Yes. Plan management fees are funded under Capacity Building: Choice and Control (category 14) in your NDIS plan. The fee doesn’t come out of your Core or other support budgets, so there’s no out-of-pocket cost. Read our guide to NDIS plan management fees.
How quickly can you start?
We can start once you’ve completed our sign-up form and service agreement and recorded Aspect as your plan manager with the NDIA, either in your my NDIS portal or by calling the NDIA on 1800 800 110. We’re happy to walk you through it over the phone.
How do I check my budget and payments?
You can see every invoice and payment in our 24/7 online portal, and we send you monthly statements so you always know where your budget is at.
