A new NDIS Price Guide was recently introduced that is effective as of the 31st of July 2020. As Metropolitan Melbourne enters stage four restrictions and community transmission of coronavirus is not abating in Victoria and New South Wales, additional temporary measures have been included in the new NDIS Price Guide.

These include new codes to cover the cost of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including face masks, for participants who utilise face-to face assisted living supports. These measures ensure that participants more at risk are supported by having access to PPE and are continually able to receive their disability supports.

New Support items added to the NDIS Price Guide:

The temporary arrangements which apply in New South Wales and Victoria are now included in the updated Price Guide. These temporary arrangements are currently in place from 29 July 2020 until 30 September 2020. The NDIA will continue to monitor the situation and may implement further measures.
